Cost-competitive Tooling

Tooling or molds are necessary for any plastics molding process, but the tooling for Rotomolding (Rotational Molding) is typically less of an upfront capital expenditure in comparison to most other plastic molding processes.

Once a rotomolding design for a product is completed, the process of turning that design into a mold which can produce parts via the rotomolding process begins.

Molds are often made from steel or aluminum and either fabricated or cast.

We assign a dedicated design team to focus on part design, and set expedited Rotomolding (Rotational Molding ) Tool manufacturing with molds and Rotomolding parts being made in as little as 5-6 weeks.

When deciding on a mold maker, you want to make sure the quality of the Rotational Mold is top-notch, as that will determine, or play a big role in the quality of the part. Also, you’ll want to make sure they have some type of an inspection process. Bad seam lines can increase your cost per part significantly, as well as certain finishes.
